Long Overdue Picture Posts

17 Months already!
Where has the time gone?
She's walking and talking,
And has an attitude of her very own.
Kitties still rule in her world.
However, Elmo is taking a strong second.
And going outside is the only thing she wants to do.

I call these her antennae pretties.

Sharing her oyster crackers with the bread loving kitty.

Playing With the Hose

These are a little out of order. Not sure how to order them once they upload. Oh well... you'll get the picture. Or pictures...

One of Jayden's favorite passtimes when we are at our house is playing outside in the hose. Our backyard is full of dead grass and dirt, so when you mix that with water you get MUD! She really likes to play in it. If you turn your back on her for a minute, you find her sitting down in the dog's pool. She is a water lovin' baby!

Playing at the Park in Flagstaff

Jayden is enjoying being close to her favorite cousin Bailey.
Last Friday he went with her to the park to play. She loves him SOOOOO much!

Congratulations Papa Rod and Grammie Lu!

On Friday, April 10th Grammie Lu and Jayden's new Papa Rod were married! We couldn't be happier for them. I didn't get many pictures but here are a few that I did get.
Papa and Grammie with the Grandkids. Jayden has two new cousins named Sid and Hannah!

Not sure what they are looking at down there.

Grammie Lu was beautiful!

Hunting for Eggs

Here's our little Easter Bunny finding eggs at Grandma's house with her cousins.

Let the hunting by trike begin!

Our little leader of the pack.

So Cool!

Jayden loves to play with sunglasses and hats. Here she is trying to put on her dad's safety glasses for work.

Trying to ride a skate board and be like her Uncle Andrew.

Jayden loves being outside. Even if it's just walking around our dead backyard.

That's Our Girl!

Jayden loves to try to lick the water as it comes out of the spout. I had to get a rubber duckie spout cover to keep her from bumping her mouth.
Grammie! Here's the dress I was telling you about.

Jayden loves to go down the slide at the park. You can see the look on her face as she sits at the top of the slide.

"Okay Mom! I'm ready to go to the park!"

The Healing Powers of Babies

The last month has been pretty tough for all of us. Thank goodness for Jayden. It seems whenever I'm getting sad, she does something amazing to make me smile. Playing outside at Gramma's.
Just like her daddy.

This cement deer is an antique. It used to be at MY grandma's house in South Dakota. Some how it's lasted 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, tons of other children, a 1,300 mile move, and probably at least 50 winters outside.

Jayden loves being outside, especially in Flagstaff.

Jayden plays with her Uncle Clay out in the snow. She's funny, when she sees a camera she usually says "Cheese!"
Even Daddy comes out to pull her around the yard.

Jayden and her cousin Elliott who is exactly 11 months younger than her.
Spaghetti Yum!

Thanks for friends. My best friend through life, Annika, flew in from Maui to be my moral support after Denny passed away. Thank you Annika! I don't know what I would have done without you!
